About the Mission

In 1922 when 22 area churches came together to help the needy, there was one goal...
to provide food, shelter and hope to those who came to our door.
Even though we have had many changes since then, our purpose remains the same.
Through the help, compassion and understanding that is provided here,
we have seen people improve their lot in life.

So many have led lives filled with depression and loneliness that they don't know how to
free themselves from negative feelings. Our Lord uses us as His instruments to make a difference
to these people and with His help we will continue in this path for years to come.

Here at the Mission we have a wonderful Christian staff who give 100% to be there for the people.
We are fortunate to have staff who want to make the Mission a "safe harbor" and a success.
This is a very tremendous task, but it is one that has great satisfaction when accomplished.
With the Lord's help and yours, we can keep on making a difference and continue to provide
FOOD, SHELTER and HOPE to the needy in the area.
