Union Gospel Mission Duluth Annual Report Fiscal Year End 9/30/2010 Summary.

Established in 1922 to help the needy by providing food, shelter and hope.

Union Gospel Mission Duluth has established itself as a haven for the needy and a source
of the benefits outlined. The need is apparent from the large volume we serve daily and
have served over the years. Our On-site statistics cast an average of 4 new people on
every 3-meal day we have. We serve Duluth, MN and the surrounding area.

In FYE 2010 we served 87,141 meals at our on-site facility. Our unduplicated count is
1,743 individuals having meals with us in 2010. Fiscal Year End 2010 Cost is $340,281.
This breaks down to food cost of $.47 per meal, preparation cost of $3.43 per meal.

UGM Duluth provided 2,145 food baskets in 2010. Fiscal Year End 2010 cost is
$102,078. This breaks down to a food cost of $8.60 per average 44 lb basket, preparation
cost of $38.99 per 21 meal basket.

UGM provided 1,201 once-a-year only hygiene kits helping 2,637 people. Also we
provided 283 blankets, 311 winter coats. We provided school supplies in backpacks to
278 children. Our Christmas party provided gifts to 200 children. Fiscal Year Cost 2010
was $75,061.

UGM/Martin Hotel has 12 Section 8 SRO rooms, 7 low-income and 1 emergency room
with two beds. We provided shelter to 35 individuals in 2010. Fiscal Year End 2010 Cost
was $26,006.

Other activities include Bible studies, AA groups, NA group, Gamblers Intervention, all
types of referrals, men's and women's fellowship groups, children's summer camp.

Building, Management and general. Fiscal Year End 2010 Cost is $89,807.

Fundraising. We direct mail seven times a year. Fiscal Year End 2010 Cost is $35,721.

We are Audited annually. Our Federal 990 is posted at Guidestar.com.

UGM in March 2009 completed the Charities Review Council's Charity
Accountability Wizard and qualified for the second three year cycle.
